Accessibility

Access to the bureau is at street level with no steps or other obstructions. The front doors open automatically. Assistance may be required with waiting room doors although staff will always assist where possible. There is wheelchair access to a toilet adapted for people with physical disabilities.  A hearing loop system is available.

No dogs permitted except guide dogs and assistance dogs.

Castle Douglas CAB

Castle Douglas Citizens Advice Bureau is now closed. Services in the Stewartry are now delivered through clinics located in the libraries/customer service centres at Dalbeattie and Kirkcudbright with clinics also being held in the Parish Church Halls, Castle Douglas. Operating times are:

Our new office in Harbour Street has disabled parking spaces and a lift to the 1st floor.

Please note that any other parking space in our carpark is for staff only. Therefore, we ask that all clients use any of the free long stay carparks situated across the road from the building instead.
