Position: Training Officer
Location: Dumfries with a Region wide responsibility
Salary: £30,837.00 pro rata
Hours: 28 hours per week
Start date: 6 January 2025 or by agreement

Role Overview: As a Training Officer, you will play a crucial role in designing, delivering, facilitating and evaluating training programmes for our staff and volunteers, as well as on occasions, for our partners. Your efforts will ensure that our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training plans.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and make improvements.
- Collaborate across the Service to identify training needs and prepare a comprehensive training plan.
- Support the professional development of staff and volunteers.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualification in and/or proven experience in a training or educational role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- A passion for charity work.
- Flexibility to travel across the Region as needed.
