D&G CAS Get Muddy!
Dumfries & Galloway Citizens Advice Service (D&G CAS) staff and volunteers are taking part in Tough Mudder Scotland in July to raise funds for the charity.
A team of volunteers and staff from D&G CAS are tackling Tough Mudder on July 3rd 2022 under the team name ‘The Scrambled Legs’. Tough Mudder is a 10km obstacle course run made more difficult by its muddy terrain.
D&G CAS volunteer, Ella Cavani, states ‘we wanted to raise awareness of the service within the community and also raise some funds to support D&G CAS continue to help those who need it most. Volunteering with the service is very rewarding, and I was keen to do as much as I could to help. It will certainly be a challenge, but one for a worthwhile cause’.
If you would like to keep up to date with The Scrambled Legs’ progress or donate to their fundraising campaign, you can do so online here.
You can also see other ways to help, including details about volunteering on the D&G CAS website: www.dagcas.org
Our Advice is always free, impartial and confidential. Whilst we are appreciative of any donations, they are not expected and are not considered as ‘payment’ for our services but instead as a ‘gift’ to help aid the overall work of the service as a charity.
