Why Donate?
Thanks to your help this winter, we could help clients so that they would not have to choose between heating and eating.

Help Us Make a Difference
Our Advice is always free, impartial and confidential. Whilst we are appreciative of any donations, they are not expected and are not considered as ‘payment’ for our services but instead as a ‘gift’ to help aid the overall work of the service as a charity.
Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service is a registered charity; we rely on grants and donations to carry out our work across the region. Our 40+ volunteers give over 9,000 hours of unpaid service each year, providing free advice and information to residents of Dumfries and Galloway on a wide range of issues.
Your donation will be used to support our frontline advice services and volunteer advisers in providing free practical help and support to people in need. This includes running our bureaux in Dumfries, Annan and Stranraer as well as our outreach surgeries in Castle Douglas and various locations throughout Dumfries and Galloway. Other costs we have to meet include our IT and phone systems, postage and stationary, heating, lighting and volunteer training.
We need your help today. Your support will help us to keep delivering a vital lifeline to those who need it most in Dumfries and Galloway. All donations – of any size – will make a real difference.
