Other Ways to Help Us

Your help allows us to support our frontline advice services and volunteer advisers in providing free practical help and support to people in need. This includes running our bureaux in Dumfries, Annan and Stranraer as well as our outreach surgeries in Castle Douglas and various locations throughout Dumfries and Galloway. Other costs we have to meet include our IT and phone systems, postage and stationary, heating, lighting and volunteer training.

Give as you Live

Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service is registered as an eligible charity on Give as You Live Online.
This is really easy to use. Just sign up for free with only your name and email address, choose Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service as your chosen charity, and shop as normal on your favourite sites via the Give as You Live website or app. Give as You Live will then give a % of your spend to Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service – at absolutely NO cost to you.
They have over 6,000 stores registered, for example M&S, John Lewis, Boots, Marks & Spencer, Matalan, Currys, New Look, Asos… + supermarkets, hardware stores, restaurant chains, travel companies and many more. The list is huge!
Go on, give it a try. Free donations like these can help us to keep on doing our best for the residents of Dumfries and Galloway.

Give Equipment or Professional Skills

Our bureaux also need supplies to help us carry out our work. Whether it’s an offer of computing equipment, chairs for bureau clients or help with professional services like design and printing, we’d love to hear from you.
If you’ve got something you’d like to donate, contact us to find out if we can make use of it – 0300 303 4321 or email info@christines
