Annual Report 2019-2020
9th December 2020Please download a copy of our annual report for 2019-2020. Our annual report tells a story of a very successful year. It contains statistics including client financial gains, case studies, volunteer and staff profiles and client testimonials. All of which demonstrate the hard work and contribution of our staff and volunteers. The client testimonials paint a positive picture of the vast range of issues dealt with and the positive impact we have on our clients’ lives. This report demonstrates the value and worth our service delivers to the region with your welcome support.
In addition to our paid staff, our success would be possible without such dedicated and capable volunteers. They not only provide added value for money through the hours they contribute, volunteers also bring a connection to their community that provides a unique perspective based on their own experiences. This helps maximise the impact of our service across the region, and enables us to help and understand many more clients than would otherwise be possible.
We continue to respond very well to the demand for advice and information across our Region. The coronavirus pandemic has compelled us to be more innovative in the way we deliver our service encompassing traditional means of contact for those who are digitally challenged along with maximising many digital platforms for those that are able to access our service using them. As a trusted organisation we are often the first point of call for people facing a crisis.
Looking ahead, 2021 will be a key year for the service, delivering new and innovative service to meet the needs of our clients, partners and funding stakeholders. We will ensure that we embed our service at the heart of regional support and guidance in the public and charitable sectors building on existing partnerships and building new ones.
We are proud to serve the people of Dumfries and Galloway and look forward to continuing to deliver a quality service to those who contact us seeking advice, assistance and support.
